Woah! What a time. A lot of seeds that I’ve planted over the past year are taking root and sprouting. If my life had a season.. it would be SPRING! Things are shifting, sprouting and rising up, up, up. It’s overwhelming and beautiful. For those of you who don’t know- Andrew and I bought our first house! An 1870’s farm on 5 acres in Morgantown, PA. I start my new job working on an organic sustainable agriculture farm April 1st. I’m converting our barn into a place for gathering- yoga, farm-to-table dinner parties and workshops. I’ll be announcing a winter retreat soon too! What I’m reading:       What I’m listening to: I started making this new playlist for when we’re moving and painting the new house! If there is one things that I know for sure it’s that, WE NEED EACH OTHER. We cannot do life alone. Making deep connections with others, helping someone and asking nothing in return, listening (really listening), making eye contact, offering a hug, sharing your wealth, gathering, supporting, reaching out..being present in the abundance of people around you! There’s so many of us here, but we’re not really here. How is it possible that so many feel so alone in a world of 7.7 billion people? What would it take to step away from your busyness and call a friend, help a neighbor, meet and support your local farmer- we are …

What I’m reading: What I’m listening to: Good mix of tunes I’ve been listening to while I work behind the buddha bar making medicine! Product I’m loving: THE CRISP FALL AIR. GO OUTSIDE ❤ Word of the week: Reciprocity. This word has been ringing through my mind ever since I read Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass. I’m most interested in this word as it relates to our relationship with Earth. The Earth provides us with an abundance of everything that we could ever need but yet we are constantly asking “How can we take more?”. The earth gives and gives but what do we offer back in return? How can we make the exchange a two way street? I think an exchange like this with the earth would lead us to the answer to one of the most essential question as a human, “What is my unique gift?”. Read this if you want to hear more on reciprocity. OR better yet, read the whole book. It’s the most beautiful book I’ve ever read. Quote of …

What I’m reading: Chief Seattle’s Letter to the President in 1952. It’s so damn beautiful. “This we know: The earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life; he is merely a strand of it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” What I’m listening to: With each passing year I find the whisper of ‘less’ growing louder. When I think of what wealth would look like for me it’s big open fields, wild animals and dirty hands from the garden.  A simple life, in harmony with nature makes my heart swell. What does wealth look like for you? What does it feel like? Enjoy this playlist inspired by a simple life in nature.. Product I’m loving: These outdoor incense sticks have been a life saver these past few weeks. My little beach bungalow is surrounded by trees and with all this rain that we’ve been getting, the mosquitos have been …

What I’m reading: Poetry by Tyler Knott Gregson, I could read his poems for hours ❤ What I’m listening to: JOHN CRAIGIE. I’ve been loving him for a while now and am excited to see him live at a small venue in PHL in just a few weeks. Product I’m loving: MACA ROOT POWDER has been used for thousands of years in Peru for it’s medicinal proprieties. I have been adding it to my drinks, smoothies and snacks and really notice a difference in my energy and overall mood. I’m grateful that it’s now so readily available here in the west. Maca is an adaptogen, a name given to certain herbs, plants and natural substances that help the body naturally adapt to stressors like a busy schedule, demanding job or illness. Not only that, but maca provides a host of important micronutrients and is jam-packed with antioxidants, and it has been shown to improve sexual health, balance hormone levels, and boost energy, mood and memory. Word of the week: Judgement – every time I judge …

Ash Wednesday 8/1

Yo yo! I’ve missed you. I haven’t written a Wednesday post in a while. It has been a FULL past couple of months but damn has it been POWERFUL. Through all of the movement and change I am so grateful to the people and practices that support me. What I’m reading: Tantra – The Supreme Understanding By OSHO. Tantra has a reputation in the West as being just about sexuality when in reality Tantra is all encompassing. Tantra comes from the root Sanskrit words tanoti meaning to stretch or expand and trayati meaning to liberate or free. So tantra (tan + tra) means to expand the frontiers of apprehension beyond the material into the more subtle realms of perception and hence through these increasingly more refined insights, attain spiritual knowledge (jnana) and liberation (moksha). What I’m listening to: I’ve been adding to this playlist for 2 months now. It’s a goodie. Product I’m loving: Thinx underwear. You can have your period without the negative affects on the environment!! No plastic, no harsh chemicals, no BULLSHIT. They’re …
